The parties are still gathering. Over the past few years, a small number of Dungeon & Dragons series have been announced enthusiastically, but faded into the ether. , there was news about channels specializing in dungeons and dragons. That second one may or may not be. Netflix has new plans for the D&D series and new teams, so the first one is almost certainly not. Deadline reports Showrunner and author Drew Crevello (formerly obsessed with the Paramount series) are set up to act as a showrunner and writer for the series, The Forgotten Realms (at least for now). It's there. Deadline said, “As the title suggests, the proposed series will take place in the setting and highlight of the iconic campaign for Dungeons & Dragons Universe.” Crevello is also executive produced. In that feature, he was joined by Shawn Levy, producer and director of Netflix's massive Stranger Things universe. Hasbro, who owns Wizards of the Coast by D&D Publishing, is also behind the series. And that's something you should know for now almost everything. Crevello previously co-created, wrote and produced Wecrashed series. He was co-producer of Grudge2.
