Dungeons & Dragons is working to integrate some of the biggest third-party publishers of 5E content into the D&D Beyond Digital Ecosystem, making it easy for Dungeon Masters to track all your books and allow players to incorporate unofficial classes, feats and spells into their virtual character sheets. Beyond the built-in ruins of Cymbalms and the Heliana guide to March's Monster Hunting earlier this month, the latest addition to the toolset is The Crooked Moon, a folk horror setting and adventure based on the legends of Avantris's real-life play series and the edges of Midnight. Face a bent man. The campaign has rules for fighting monsters inspired by 85 folklore and multiphase bosses on their own minions and terrain. Players can also embrace fear with many new subclasses and species. As a result, the Ranger becomes a strict herbal ringer, and the Warlock can choose the horned king as his patron, playing Harvestborn, like a pumpkin head, or Plague bones like a rat. Additionally, FateWeaving is a system in which characters are combined and linked to folklore, in addition to new spells, rituals and item rules. Pre-orders are available at TheCrookedMoon.com. Books are expected to be available in retail stores this fall.
